Most women say that men are only interested in two things:

if he’s not horny

he’s hungry !

I wanna believe that there is more to men than sex and food. i think that a good man is hard to find, not to keep. it is sad that so many women struggle to hold on to some jerk, keep giving an abusive man yet another chance (like forgiving him after you catch him with another woman in your bedroom), physical and emotional abuse, have unprotected sex with some guy while barely knowing his last name, agree to shack up and risk making babies with some loser, all in a pathetic version of a pursuit for love, BUT will resent the hell out of treating a descent, hardworking, caring boyfriend with the thoughtfulness attention, respect, and affection he needs to be content.

It boggles my mind . why ? because i came from a very bad relationship.... i always get defensive and start to fight with a guy  just because i am too scared to get hurt again. i’m too headstrong, stupidly stubborn and tough. i like being tough though.. see that’s the other side of me, the other side is just too damn girly !

I love taking care of my man just like how a typical filipina takes care of her man. i don’t know... i seldom think about serious stuff and when that sometimes comes it will  really boggle my mind... i will think all the time, like 24/7...even in my sleep.it’s crazy ! anyways, right now i am feeling really optimistic. i think that men are not as complicated as we think they should be. men love to hear their women is happy and men deserve the same respect you would show a visitor in your home- even more. men love to be complimented.they also like to be admired. men are grumpy when they’re tired or hungry. men have dreams, too, and i guess it doesn't matter if it’s logical or not, women shouldn’t walk all over them or vice versa. GREAT MEN deserve all that.

We will always have problems in our relationships- everyone does- but i think that it’s a lot easier to work them out with a man who knows you love and respect him, and you should stay with a man who loves and respects you.  i am really feeling this right now. i friggin’ sound like an angel !  this is getting a bit long already. gotta go and cook dinner for my family !  latz peeps !!!

PAIN IS OUCHY ! --- BOW !

To even say ‘I love you’ can be frightening. But even if it’s painful and fearful to have an emotional interaction, still we keep going, we enter into a relationship.

In order to protect our emotional wounds, and because of our fear of being hurt, humans create something very sophisticated in the mind, a big denial system. In that denial system we become the perfect liars. We lie so perfectly that we lie to ourselves and we even believe our own lies. We don’t notice we are lying, and sometimes even when we know we are lying; we justify the lie and excuse the lie to protect ourselves from the pain of our wounds.

The denial system is like a wall of fog in front of our eyes that blinds us from seeing the truth. We wear a social mask because it’s too painful to see ourselves or to let others see us as we really are.

*SELF-PRESERVATION IS SOME SORT OF AN ARMOR, A SHIELD TO PROTECT MYSELF FROM PAIN. BUT PAIN IS ESSENTIAL FOR PEOPLE TO KEEP GROWING AS MORTALS, IT KEEPS US STRONGER OR BETTER YET, WISER THAN EVER. 

 BUT I AM FULLY AWARE THAT I CAN NEVER RUN AWAY FROM IT, IT'S JUST TOO IMPOSSIBLE, UNLESS YOU'RE ALREADY DEAD. 

WHEN YOU'RE IN PAIN YOU HURT ! YOU WEEP !  YOU BLEED ! YOU HEAL ! (SOMETIMES HEALING TAKES A LONG TIME, OH YEAH !!!) AND FINALLY, YOU SCAR !

SCARS LAST FOREVER AND I BELIEVE THAT SCARS ARE PERFECT IMPERFECTIONS. i find it really sensual FOR IT SHOWS THE PERIOD OF HARDSHIPS THAT A PERSON HAD TO GO THROUGH, WHETHER IT BE PHYSICAL OR EMOTIONAL.

Like all living creatures, WE CAN HEAL FROM OUR PAINS and our SUFFERINGS. If we have a healthy environment, HEALTHY BEHAVIOURS, HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS, WE WILL RECOVER. THAT'S PART OF LIFE. IT'S JUST A CONTINUOUS CYCLE OF HAPPINESS, SADNESS, UPS, DOWNS, MADNESS, ET CETERA, ET CETERA.

Nirvana members dismayed and very disappointed by 'Guitar Hero 5'

Kurt Cobain's appearance in the "Guitar Hero" video game is not hitting the right notes with the surviving members of Nirvana !!

Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl said in a joint statement that they were "dismayed and very disappointed" that an avatar of the late Nirvana frontman could be used to play songs by other artists.

Kurt was much more handsome than his avatar, his likeness looks fugly ! Yaiks !!!! He looks like he's chewing on something while singing, not cool. And I believe that it's truly disrespectful to make Kurt's image/character in the game be used with 'any kind' of song the player wants. He was the front man of Nirvana, dapat Nirvana songs lang diba ? Whatevah !

I miss him so much..= ( I'm actually happy to see him there ! moving like he's alive again !! and being recognized in a game ! But Kurt is Kurt ! He should only be allowed or able to play his own songs, not someone else's ! I understand if he's an entertainer like in a show band, but not like that ! He's a legend for cryin out loud ! He had a song about raping him ! and that's exactly what these game makers are doin to him ! It's just down right wrong, at least in the game world ! I'm sure Kurt wouldn't agree to that if he was alive at all ! He's prolly turning in his grave right now..tsk..tsk..

cobain would've done benefit concerts if he was alive, but to compel him to sing another artist song might have been difficult for him to swallow unless he really loves the song (he covered a song by a christian group called 'the vaselines')

this matter could be turned into a biography eh ? a book that we may call "Cobain, Alive and Dead: Milking The Sacred Cow."

P.S. I suck at Guitar Hero so I GUESS I'M JUST BITTER ! Haha !

ALL ABOUT CEBU (siomai and hanging rice)

I got introduced to the SIOMAI of  CEBU because of Joshua Tan. First night in Cebu and he took as into a place where we could munch the best SIOMAI in the city.

So, what makes this siomai different and why do Cebuanos rave about them?

The answer lies in the taste. When I took a bite of the SIOMAI, I instantly liked it. The pork and the pork fat blended well, creating a fusion of flavors not usually present in other siomais (parang pancit canton) The good taste was complemented by the chili sauce which had a characteristic spice. 

We ate  siomai with HANGING RICE

It consists of rice wrapped in coco leaves which is then boiled. It is served by slicing the coco leaves in half exposing the rice. Puso rice pieces are strung together and servers just cut them off and slice them in half for serving, hence the term “hanging rice"

When you visit Cebu, try this siomai with hanging rice and see for yourself. I bet you'll like it, too !! havey na havey !!!

I almost spent the happiest moments of my life in Baguio City.

BURNHAM PARK 

Burnham Park is centered around a man-made lake located at the heart of the city. The park is a favorite place of local residents and visitors alike. There are different facilities for recreation and relaxation that are available in the park. You can row a boat, have a picnic, attend an outdoor concert, watch a football game, go biking, or just take a leisurely stroll around the park.

There is so much in life that I have learned from my DaddyCool (my loving lolo). He is in many ways a very simple man, but yet he had strong values that he passed down by example to his children and grandchildren

As I prepared for writing this, I could really see how he taught, not by lecturing or preaching (although he did some of that too), but by his example.

He is lauded as a passionate person who loved life, his job and his friends/ family. He savored things very much.

He's sort of a lover of beauty, or a beautiful woman... Ahem !

As a husband, father, lolo, tito, and colleague, and friend, Daddy is known for his love of life and unflagging sense of humour... people call him TALKIS TALKIS since he really talks a lot !!  MISMO !!! I've never heard anyone say bad things about my daddy, puera nalang kung jealous sila sa kanya, everyone loves him, everyone calls him DADDYCOOL,DON CACHO and LAKAY CACHO 

Daddy has a great big heart and will give the very last money in his pocket if someone needs it badly. 

The lessons learned from my Daddy will live on with me as long as I live and I hope that I could pass them on to my son and future grandchildren.

DADDY, I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH !! We will truly miss you !!

I know we are all feeling a little bit sad, that we've lost our daddy, our friend and our father. Together we have cried an ocean of tears as we feel so empty and hold many fears. But Daddy would want us to know he's in a good place and that he watching us all with a smile on his face as we have made him so proud, as proud as can be that he has raised such a beautiful and special family.

Thinking back now I really must say I feel lucky and privileged to have known Daddy to this day for in my life, you have played a special part the memories I will treasure and keep close to your heart. And for all of us, be grateful, his life is now complete, to each one of us he has loved and cared and a family, be thankful for the good times we shared.

Although he has gone we will always be together and his spirit will live on each one of us forever, when you look to the sky, look for the brightest star as Daddy will be  looking down on us from afar

And now I would like to thank the good Lord above for blessing us with our Grandpa with his kindness and love.

Dear God, if it is not too much fuss take extra special care of our daddy as he is very dear to us.

DADDYCOOL,  if you are listening say a prayer for us every day be sure to protect us and guide us on our way. We know when God called you, you had to go but we want you to know  we miss you and love you so !! ♥♥♥
